GETTING IN THE RIGHT MIND SET
Do you find it difficult to get into the right mind set for fitness, or get yourself motivated for exercise? You’re not alone. Compiled below is a list of five things you can do to help you on your way to being the person you want to be.
SET GOALS
As your very first step, you will want to set yourself realistic goals that you will be able to reach. When you are new to exercising, setting realistic fitness goals may be quite difficult for you, though it will help you in the long run to slowly adapt into a new and healthier lifestyle. As you hit and reach your target goals, you will find it easier to reach the next one.
Are you trying to tone your body, lose weight, are you doing exercise for health reasons, or for sports rehabilitation? If you are not sure on how to set yourself realistic fitness goals, get in touch with me to kick start your exercise regime and I will help guide you through your process.
WORK OUT WITH A FRIEND
Working out with someone else will help you to push yourself even further and do more exercise than if you were to train by yourself.
Whether you choose to join a gym, get yourself a male or female personal trainer with their own personal training gym, or work out with your friends, you will be closer to hitting your target goals with someone else to guide you and push you to do that little bit more exercise.
FUEL YOURSELF PROPERLY
Starving your body of those vital vitamins and minerals, carbs and proteins is perhaps one of the worst things you can do to your body. Your body needs a certain amount of food per day to keep you active and ready for the next activity. When you deprive your body of certain food groups, you will notice that you feel tired, get bad skin, and you do not have the energy you need throughout the day. Here at Dee’signerbodies, I take personal training right from the exercise to the diet, making sure you have a proper diet plan to go along with your fitness regime, keeping your body fuelled with the right amount of food along with the right food groups.
HAVE FUN & ENJOY THE EXERCISES YOU DO
The key to keeping up doing exercise is enjoying the exercise that you do. If you do not enjoy the exercise, it turns into a chore that you will tend to skip whenever you can. Instead, find something you like doing and make the most out of it. With all my exercise regimes, I try and make them both fun and a little bit challenging to push you to your max and get the most out of your personal training time with me.
GET ON AND DO IT
It doesn’t matter what exercise you do, so long as you get out there and do it. A little bit every day makes a difference, and you will get a great feeling of accomplishment once you have finished the exercise too.
